    The Seattle-based Coast Guard Cutter Healy sits in the Chukchi Sea off Alaska July 29, during an Arctic deployment in support of scientific research and polar operations.     As you'll see in the Navy news release, NOPF Whidbey Island monitors sounds in the ocean. The work of this unit is an important element of national security, but details aren't made public (don't ask for a tour!).
