Meet the first female Commanding Officer of Coast Guard Station Cape Disappointment

Lieutenant Jessica Shafer was profiled by the Seattle Times in the August 18th edition of Pacific Northwest Magazine. Unfortunately, photos aren't included in the online story, but...Here's her June, 2018 USCG Change of Command photo.  A former enlisted boatswain's mate, Shafer has an impressive record of accomplishment and leadership, as you'll read in this LINK
