Retired U.S. Marine Corps Gen. John F. Kelly was confirmed as Secretary of Homeland Security on Jan. 20, 2017.
Many of us remember the fatal truck bombing that took place in Iraq on April 22, 2008. Most do not know that Gen. Kelly eloquently eulogized two young Marines who died heroically in that attack -- just four days after his own son, a Marine Corps 2nd Lt., died in combat in Afghanistan.
